Transcription Project #1 – Jet Song

My very first, published, transcription project: a complete transcription of Ray Brown’s performance on “Jet Song,” featured on Oscar Peterson's 1962 album West Side Story. I have been working on this transcription over the past year. This performance is a pure representation of Brown's incomparable phrasing – accompanying or soloing – always recycling material to make each line fluid and familiar.
